Hi,

I stayed at the Hotel Okura - it was very nice but was in the business/diplomatic area although they may also be in other areas in Tokyo.

Lots of day trips can be made from Tokyo & one gets a real contrast of Japan by doing this - I loved Kyoto, Kamakura, Nara etc.

Roppongi is a hangout area for night-life types - its OK but there are Nigerian & Chinese touts & scammers there so keep that in mind!

If you want to see THE most absolutely, stunningly beautiful girls/women on the planet then take a stroll or two around the Ginza area - your jaw will drop!

Suave!

Hi,

No problem - hope you have an awesome time! If some Japanese look at you strangely or do not engage with you in a manner that might appear to be rude to most Westerners, do not take it the wrong way (only some of the very older generation might actually be like this) as in actuality, the truth is more along the lines that they feel ashamed of themselves at not being aware of your language/culture & do not know how to communicate with you so they sort of "bottle up" inside & do not take the risk of responding to you & risk being seen as "ignorant/insulting"!

Also, you have absolutely no fear whatsoever of ever being ripped off as the Japanese are exceptionally honest & helpful - beware of Chinese touts posing as Japanese though that try to lure you into anything - as a general rule, unless it is the market food stall type of places, the Japanese usually almost never to try solicit/lure anyone into anything like clubs, bars, etc as it can seen as exceptionally rude!

I do not know what the prices are like these days but if good, I very strongly recommend you get a set/sets of Japanese Kitchen & Culinary knives - the choice is endless there & the vey best you can get!

Are you planning on doing a YouTube Video blog?

Suave!

Nice, good mixture there.  Kyoto was really nice, very different from Tokyo but still special so might be worth having a look (time permitting)  Love to hear what Nikko is like as I still have a little regret not going but Tokyo just needed more exploring at the time.  I'd go back tomorrow but seriously thinking of Tokyo 2020 for the next visit [emoji4]
