Personally, it was probably our first row in bed, pull the covers over her head so she's forced to smell my fart.

Not far off with the time. A poisoned arrow doesn't make warfare.

I do like the globalfirepower.com site. Gives a rough idea of what’s what. Heaven forbid, if war broke out, NATO would comfortably be able to deal with Russia. I’m talking conventionally, of course. If China backed Russia, things would become more difficult. The problem being. . .

In a huge conventional war, either side would have the ultimate option of pressing the button, if it became apparent they were going to lose. Thankfully, I think and hope that’s what will prevent war. That said, I’d still back tax increases to significantly strengthen our conventional power. Russia are strengthening and so should we be, and NATO as a whole.

At a guess catapulting plague ridden bodies over castle walls in those good olden days when men were men and once a knight was enough.

Yeah I was going to point that out to Marv. That was being done a lot longer than WWI. However, so far Enki was nearest with the time.

China used arsenic laced smoke circa 1000 BC IIRC

(Of course I don't recall it, I looked it up)
