Mass security services, PM, involvement of the armed forces, police. What are you doubting?

Watch at 11.25 onwards.

Yes, he did say that after Labour's huge election gains.

...And he might have to wait a lot longer. If Theresa handles the current nerve agent poisoning scenario correctly on the international scene she's on a winner.

Oh for fox sake. If he was leader now, what would he be doing? Anything?

Corbyn aide queries proof of Russian guilt

It came as several Labour MPs called for their leader to be firmer in his condemnation of Russia.

A succession of Labour MPs - including many who are on record opposing Mr Corbyn as Labour leader - backed Theresa May's decision to expel 23 Russian diplomats and take other measures in response to the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia with a military grade nerve agent.

Why would they use a nerve agent that they know could be traced back to Russia?

Why use a nerve agent at all? Wouldn't it have been less traceable if they had just shot this spy ?

I suggested a possible reason for that on the other thread about the poisoning - that being it's a clear a message as possible that Russia did it yet with just enough wiggle room to still deny it 'officially'.

... and because we in the West play by the rules, we end up looking like toothless weaklings, as we won't commit such acts of terrorism and public murder* since our political leaders are far more accountable and the system is more transparent.

* that is not to say we won't and haven't done some very dodgy things, but it's always attempted to be clandestine and untraceable for the most part - essentially trying to keep a polite state of detante.

Musing over breakfast, If I were to begin to buy into the Conservative and UK patriism there is something that I can't reconcile, these London based Russian Oligarchys who donate to the Conservative party, surely they are enemies of Putin? And Putin has made it clear his enemies will die earlier than anticipated. Yet none have died earlier than anticipated, perhaps its because Putin sees them as some sort asset and is happy to let them carry on living for some reason.

Not really off to a good start at home to be honest, May stated yesterday she is expelling 23 'undeclared intelligence officers'. I assume she is letting those that have declared they are intelligence officers stay in the UK.

Why would we send them a sample?

Do we actually believe they will analyse and then report on it accurately?

They cheated on lab tests in the Olympics. But they will do these tests properly?

Suppose they want to confirm the origin of the agent is Russian. For sure they could lie about it but then we could just send a sample for independent analyse somewhere else.

I'am pretty sure a Russian spy carried the attack out but weather i not it was sanctioned by the gov i dont know. Strikes me as more of someone having a grudge and taking it into there own hands.
