I wonder about Corbyn now.

Is he still going to doubt what would be his own security services and that of other countries that consider it "the only plausible explanation."

Didn't he say something along the lines that Russia was directly or indirectly to blame for the attack but definite proof was required?

In other words clear evidence was required before any response.

It's a typical Jeremy appeasement approach, but he's always been like that - nothing new there.

There is still zero evidence published that what ever was used actually came directly from Russia, rather than one of the other countries stockpiles that have access to it - including the US who got it from Uzbekistan. and rumoured to be stocks at Porton Down. A expert on Sky said he believed 16 countries have access to Novichok.
The UK government has absolutely no “fingerprint” information such as impurities that can safely attribute this substance to Russia.

And the CPCW have stated it verified Russia's distruction of chemical weapons last year.

There are also growing doubts what ever was used actually is Novichok, given it is supposed to be eight times more deadly than VX and no one has died. It has not been verified independently it was Novichok either.
Read this - The Novichok Story Is Indeed Another Iraqi WMD Scam - Craig Murray

Zero arrests, no proof that the person who administered it was Russian acting for their government, no CCTV evidence. Russia really has very little to gain leading up to the World Cup, but a number of other countries who are angry at Russia for disrupting their plans in Syria do - including the Uk government, US, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Israel.. Israel has a history of conducting false flag attacks - look up the "Lavon Affair" when they tried to blow up US / UK buildings in Egypt to pin on Egyptian communists and Muslim Brotherhood. Yes may be its unlikely but that is the world of espionage.

Russia has gained absolutely nothing from this, and it is very predictable what would happen - more sanctions, more pain for Russia, more isolation, and expulsions of diplomats and possibly cyber attacks on Russia. Russia's enemies are making hay - more arms contracts, the revving up of the Cold War 2, increases in defence spending as touted by several Tory MPs within hours of the incident, before any investigation has started. The whole thing stinks of a fit up.

After the lies we were told over Iraq, which the intelligence agencies colluded with, the bar of proof is much higher now. Why why why didnt May wait for the outcome of the investigation to be concluded rather than rushing to punishment? She clearly wants attention away from the Brexit debacle. As they say, fools rush in.

It's hard to figure out what he said, what an aide said, or what his own back benchers say he said. And that's before the Tories or the media put their twist on it.

Is what he says wrong in his correlation allegation then? Please provide your evidence.
I guess you would call those that questioned the "evidence" over Iraqs WMDs in the build up to the war in Iraq "wacknuts" too?

What is so worrying is the media have ruled out any other possibility other than the Russians did it on the basis of unproven evidence, which has NOT been independently verified. ITV News told an outright lie saying the nerve agent used could only have come from Russia when a number of other countries have it including the US. This sort of narrative was reminiscent of what we were told in the build up to Iraq, and before the vote in Syria on airstrikes when we were told Assad only could have used chemical weapons. It later turned out that the rebels had used chemical weapons repeatedly as found by the UN, and former UK ambassador Peter Ford said the rebels had used Chlorine in 2016 to try to frame Assad. Only last week a rebel chemical weapons factory was found in formerly rebel held parts of East Ghouta.
