Who said they were responsible for the global recession?

They were responsible for the deficit, having run one since 2002/3 years before the crash. You remember, during an almost unprecedented debt fuelled boom.

Let me get this right:

1. Dave includes a referendum on the EU in the Tory manifesto so he can get elected.
2. Theresa calls a snap election so as to create a stronger bargaining position when it comes to leaving the EU.

Both of these positions were created by a Tory administration. You know, the one that knows exactly what it's doing to make us "stronger" (it hasn't), one that always balances the books and clears up Labour's mess (it hasn't) and one that believes in "wealth creation" and "aspiration" to alleviate and resolve all problems (it doesn't).

Why on earth does anyone believe their bull****?

I think she was coping reasonably well until she called the election.

So did she, then she didn't. Then she thought the people thought she was coping really well, so called a completely pointless election where she saw the people didn't think she was doing well, then gave a speech that implied she thought she was doing well, making no mention of her ex MPs that didn't do so well, despite the fact she was now an abject failure.

I am sure Mrs May will stay for while, however, others are ready to take her place. According to the Sunday newspapers.
Boris of course is a favourite as he connects with people, like Corbyn. Davis, Rudd, and Hammond a positioning themselves....

Ironically, it's a complete rebirth for the Scottish Tory Party.

Will the new born-again Scottish Tories under the leadership of Ruth Davidson always support the UK Tories in the House of Commons?

Or do they intend to sometimes show a 'separation' in order to pacify the Scottish voting public.

In other words, can Theresa rely on the block support of the Scottish conservative MPs to help carry legislation through parliament?

Been chucking to myself over the Scots, of all parts of the Kingdom, it's them putting a Tory Government in England. Hopefully May will stay now for a few months, she is absolutely beholden to the 22, she should have stood by her people over the weekend at least, however, she is broken and this DUP alliance will be gash and difficult also it will put nasty party in neon lights for every demographic to clearly see.  Unfortunately reality will take hold and her party and supporters will see what her opponents see, and the party will shank her before 19h June, one can hope it's then the Bojo. But about talk being on the negative side of, what goes around comes around.
