Said many times, it was only in the last week's before referendum I moved to a remain position.  Brexit is pure ideology, it's just a matter how far we leave now, I can understand the anger, but it's no surprise to me Brexit s comprising it's mandate as various industries lobby Government that's British democracy.  How have I moved on, there are other concerns, like the cost of living, public services housing, homelessness.

Ok, the EU and it's all their fault, it's been a get of jail card for decades for our Governments.

Ner neither, it will be the EU voting remainer, that's who will get the blame.

Good idea the McDonell amendment, especially in the age of insercure work, capping debt interest is the way to go hopefully, just not credit cards.  And the end to Major and Blair's PFI , certainly reemphasize the clear difference  Labour is now offering.

Not to mention nationalising everything that moves. It would appear that they plan to do this via confiscation - that would be an interesting court case.

But hey, we know how successful nationalised industries were back in the 60's and 70's

Sir Keir Starmer speech today on Brexit.

Are we any clearer on labours position?

He said they the grown ups.
He wants to remain in a form of customs union and a single market (Jeremy doesn't)
He wants the transition period to be long until it is right (so an indefinite?)
Oh, and the Tories nicked his transition idea. (That's a serious mistake by Mrs May!)
When it comes to free movement.... in fact, lets not talk about that.
And we want another vote at the end of all this to make sure the country has not changed their minds.

But of course we respect the referendum result!!

Yes - but he isnt going to pay market price, just what the Government thinks fit. In reality it is just State confiscation of private assets.

If he wants to implement this then we had better get on and enact Brexit as it is currently illegal under EU Law.
