Well after a bit of a traumatic start to the evening we left where we was and visited another nearby pub and the OH bought me this local farm shop sourced 16oz T'bone steak.
It was delicious.

Liking the top one, not a fan of sauces on my steak.

Looks good.

For future reference, might be an idea to show the inside.......

BTW, I can’t like it because that thing has happened again

Just for you I will try and remember to take an inside view next time.
I may get some strange looks and be escorted to the door, but will try

Sous Vide for the first time with rump steak and we both totally love it.

Had the Tomahawk sitting at room temp for a couple of hours (covered)

Then into the pan for a few minutes a side (We're gonna need a bigger pan)

Out the pan and into an oven tray for 45 minutes and a 10 minute rest. Pan was deglazed and stock added.

Large steak fries done with sweetcorn, peas and large mushrooms with chives added from the garden.

Large bone to nibble on later.

Steak looks good!  Did you cook the chips??  I've got a darker tan than them.

Very over-exposed in our kitchen which makes them look very white/uncooked.

They were just right tbh
