Caspian Pizza on Dudley High Street is a good one. They have a few branches around Birmingham as well.

Or if you are willing to go for a bit of a drive then I would highly recommend Pizza by Papa (134A Hagley Road, Old Swinford, Stourbridge, DY8 2JD         - 01384 376519). Pretty much the only place we go to now and always end up walking out with complentary drinks and sides.

AHA !!!

Thank you sir, I will try them when the wife feels brave enough

If you don't mind a quite drive, then I suggest Ivans in Cradley Heath.  Awsome chippy, I grew up very near it and its been open for decades !

I remember coming in once when I was on my teens and after a dodgy kebab (the 10 pints had nothing to do with it) I was sick all over the family labrador. I then passed out without clearing it up.

I woke in the morning to my mum screaming.

It had "set" and our labrador now looked like some kind of armadillo freak of nature.

Isn't it interesting how so many people have a fast food nosh on top of an utter skinful, throw up and then blame the food?

Doner Kebab, 1989... result... food poisoning which kicked in so hard every bit of food and water in my body decided to leave all orifices rapidly. Never had one since, still can't bear the smell.

Was in Darwen, Lancs at the time and had to travel back up to Scotland the following day... worst few days of my life.

McD.

They used to sell big mac in the foam box packaging. I had the habit of semi wrapping the big mac in napkin so not to get my hands dirty and made the burger more managable.

On one occasion, as I 'flipped' the burger over, saw a fly stuck firmly with its back onto the base of the bun, its legs were violently yanking at me.

I could look at the booze the next day. But the sight and smell of any of their pizza's was enough to set me off again
