Worst console generation?

In so far as "what generation has me playing the least", this one definitely is it. Looking just at Sony for example, with the PS3 it seemed there was an endless supply of great games on offer, even more so the PS2 and PS1. Hell, even the Wii had a better gaming catalogue imho than the PS4 currently. The XB360 had a mahoosive catalogue of worthy titles too.
To top it off this gen appears to be the "micro-transaction gen" with greedy developers trying to bleed us dry by offering more and more content behind paywalls and loot boxes. If I pay for a game, I expect to have paid for it, not paid for 50% of it with 50% "yet to be paid for"....
