A 3G and 4G version. Was told by P4U if I bought a 3G version on orange I wouldn't be able to upgrade to a 4g ee contract next year. I do find this hard to believe.

I received mine this morning.
I have not had much time to get to grips with it,but the initial impression is that build quality is excellent, the screen is gorgeous, and the downloading of web pages is quite fast.
Indoor photos without flash are impressive.
The only minor criticism I have re the camera is that the shutter release key is a little stiff, especially in the second half of it's travel, and the sound of the 'shutter release' is on the quiet side.
The reviewers' criticism of excessive thickness, and weight is a nonsense.
Admittedly, I have large hands, but the phone feels very comfortable to hold.

Same here, is there a way to tidy the apps up rather than having a long list?

I don't know if there is,but I like the strict alphabetical listing so I can just swiftly scroll through to the one I want.
If one exits an app, does it continue running in the background or close down?

Not sure to be honest. I would like it to av an alphabetical folder though instead of a long list. Is the Nokia music free? I thought it was but shows a charge when I go in.

On one of the Anon Nymous videos on YouTube I'm sure I saw the chap access a single page of alphabetised letters from which he chose the app he wanted without scrolling down the list. Unfortunately I can't remember which one and there are 6 or 7 that he has put up totalling about an hour altogether.
