I'm in ubuntu, and i have separated it. but inside it's soldered it up. i can't remove the battery.

i have Ubuntu or Mac. not windows here.

Sadly it's the result of buying such a phone, and no disrespect for doing that. You will need to unsolder it to get anywhere with it.

i can install windows on my mac. dual boot. i do that.

It's just that it might be easier using Windows compared with Ubuntu or Mac due to the USB interface. But no promises.
