I've never said it was dead.

I'm just saying to get anywhere with what your trying to do you need to know the basic stuff about the phone. Make and Model is very basic and might help to move further on in the process.

So I think it is trying to tell you you have no file or a file is missing. Since you don't have a file to flash then I guess that is correct.
