The S8 is a great phone, and this just refines it. More of a 'tock' than a 'tick', but I guess Samsung are saving that for the first true flexible/bendable phone which could be a real game changer. What's good to see here is that Samsung haven't added that god awful notch like on the iPhone X, which has pretty much been universally derided, yet other's seem to be 'adding' it to their Android phones because they think that's what people want. Trust me, they don't.
Samsung have also shown some balls by keeping the 3.5mm jack - well done, and haven't been tempted to join the £1k phone club (if rumours are true, Apple are scaling back on 'X' orders because they're not selling as expected). All in all then, a great handset, but it looks like manufacturers are now struggling to find new features to add!

Agree. It needs a screen and to be able to fit in the hand.  A flat rectangle is where it's going to stay, I think.  Same as cars.  They are all converging towards the most aerodynamic shape with the lowest possible drag coefficient.  Wing mirrors will be the next thing to disappear.  Replaced by cameras and screens in the front corners of the door windows.
