I love this! I could look at these sort of pictures all day!
My friend has tube amps and they're a sight to behold...

How would you describe the sonic signature of the M6si both before and after the upgrade?

So using HT bypass literally turns it into a power amp?

Yep. My Marantz SR7010 takes over as a pre-amp controlling the volume to my Monitor Audio PL300s as FL and FR speakers in a 7.2.2 system.

The upgrade improves on everything really and worth considering if one intends to keep the amp for some time. I’ve had the JS upgrade for just under two years and there’s never been a moment of regret.
I’d love to try a Nu Vista 600, but they’re expensive, very large and won’t integrate easily into an AV setup.

It's definitely something I would like to do if I decided to go for the M6si. Maybe not straight away as I imagine it is an expensive upgrade but just knowing the upgrade exists would send me crazy!

What speakers are you driving with yours? Do you feel it would suit the Spendors?

That Nu Vista looks beautiful! £4000 though.... :0

The M6si drives a pair of Monitor Audio PL300s. I’ve no experience of Spendor speakers so can’t really comment.
