This movie carried a powerful message of hope and Michelle's performance made the movie even better. This has to be one of my favorite Michelle Pfeiffer movies of all time! The movie made me want to get active with underprivileged kids at the time when I first saw it. And since then, I have been more involved in helping out those less fortunate and one of my inspirations is this movie. I can remember that the concepts of endurance and honor despite danger to self, are what make the difference. Also the song Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio was featured in the movie and reflects some profound ideas about the insanity of killing each other. Anyway, thats my two cents, but you should see the movie if you haven't.
