Hi again hristoslav2.  Sorry to bother you again (this will be the last time I promise!)  There are three main questions below.

First off, here is your information from the the first page of the threat about samsung panel manufacturers and versions:


1) These service menu codes are still correct right?

I noticed some new Samsungs use versions CNxx (Chei Mei), AAxx (AUO optronics), as well as TSxx and THxx, which seem to be showing Samsung.  I checked the Service menu of a TS02 version set and it showed "A" vendor which as far as I know still means Samsung is the panel vendor. Perhaps SQxx and SSxx have been replaced with THxx or TSxx?


In the US, the versions are posted on the TV as well as the box in most cases.  I'm avoiding Cxxx, Bxxx, and Axxx and will instead be looking for TSxx and THxx as those have been shown in the service menu to have "A" vendor panels (samsung).  


2)  Do you know anything about how new versions (THxx, TSxx, etc.) relate to panel manufacturer?  Is there a more up to date list of newer Samsung versions?

3)  Going off what you said in the quote above, would it be correct that a THxx and TSxx panel are both manufactured by the same vendor (Samsung), but the "H" and "S" indicate a different panel type?  If so, any idea which panels those second digits correlate with?

As far as I know, from 2011 year these indications has no connection with the manufacturer and type of panel.

This is all getting a bit borring now, I wonder what do we have to look forward to in the future? New advances on ips? Super high contrast auo? Cheaper led backlighting?

Hmmm...  Self-emitting light subpixels, like OLED are the panels future. Those type of subpixels combine advantages of Plasma and LCD - natural contrast, due to subpixel die-out (zero light emission) during "black state" and (potential) high light emission, during "white state". Not mandatory is the technology "...OLED".  
All needed is to overcome the current technology deficiencies to produce such type big panels in vast scale... And to meet the auxiliary contemporary requirements of the epoch ....
After that, come.. The holographic 4D panels???  
It is only a matter of time...

According to this post, http://www.avforums.com/forums/13993301-post289.html , the W in the product code indicates an AS-IPS panel.

The product code on my panel is, 32LM6200-TA-AAUWLH, I've been told its an S-IPS, shouldn't this be AS-IPS because the fourth letter is W?
