Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Announced (2017)

I've got a Galaxy S7 phone and am picking up a Tab S3 tomorrow.

With iPhones and iPads, you can transfer your iCloud backup from the phone to the tablet by 'restoring from backup' when you first set the tablet up. This way all your apps and settings etc are transferred across.

Is there a way to do this between my S7 and Tab S3?

Hope you got this sorted, but yes you are given the option to restore settings/apps from another Android device.. it usually prompts me to choose not to install a load of the apps I never use!

Absolutely loving this so far. It's basically just a big Galaxy S7. Screen is gorgeous.

Glad I went for this over an iPad, having an Android phone and an Apple tablet probably wouldn't have been the best.

It's just a shame that I can't get Whatsapp or Textra on it and sync them with my phone. I tried Samsung Flow as a solution but it's horrible so I turned it off...

Could you not use whatsapp web in a browser? No idea if that would work mind.

Still sitting on the fence about this - hows everyone finding it?

How is it better than your previous tablet? Can anyone recommend a case thats easily adjustable for viewing angles and doesn't collapse with the slightest touch?

I really want one, just need to justify it to myself lol

I love it. It's basically just a massive, really fast Galaxy S7 with a brilliant screen. Everything from my S7 carried across when I set it up and now both are in sync all the time through my Google/Samsung accounts.

The supplied pen feels really nice to use as well.

Thanks, I've taken the plunge. I've always had Samsung tablets, my last was a Pixel to try something new but was underwhelming.

Just got a decent trade in price for the pixel and keyboard so with a nice Very discount (thanks AddyB) it's really not been an expensive upgrade.

Out for delivery today - good service from Very. They seem to be one of those companies who are great until things go wrong, then they are worse than useless.
