I felt sorry for that French lad that started with the fractured collarbone, nearly on the home straight and goes over again? Bloody hell, I bet that was sore.

Good day for the Froomedog again, just the small matter of the Alp d'huez x2 and it's plain sailing.

Wow what a day again today, that Quintana is some rider and I can see him winning a few tours. It surely has to be one of the most exciting tours for a long time, every time there's a climb there are attacks all over the place and riders left strewn all over.

It was a bit strange that, he must have been focussed on the race and totally in the zone to get hunger knocks and/or bonk, you'd have though a pro would be regualarly fuelling. Having been there a few times myself (hunger knocks not the Alpe Duez unfortunately) he could've lost a lot more time had RP not been with him to give him gels/food or had the car been further back.

Quintana is looking very good, a very strong climber who will hopefully become a better rider with experience i.e. not going so soon on a climb.

Loving the TDF this year - bloody gripping stuff.

Got to love the Orica Green Edge team making videos up of the fans at the Alpe D'Heuz yesterday!

What a great race, after all the nonsense of the last few years it's great to see a race like that, so many great young riders coming through. The next few years of Le Tour could be some of it's finest.

yeah, totally agree - has been a really good tour.

Really pleased for Quintana to clean up, great climber and really deserved his rewards.
