Contador deserved nothing, he got smashed on every climb. I would have liked Froome to win today obviously but it didn't matter, he's already the only Brit apart from Cav to win more than 2 stages and Quintana deserved to win a stage. He's been tremendous for this years tour and could be a serious threat to Froome winning multiple tours.

That sums it up nicely for me as well

So glad for Froome he really is a deserved champion.
I wonder if he will go for the Giro or Vuelta at some stage? He should've really won the Vuelta the other year but was supporting Brad instead.

Well done froome and team sky i thought the sky team where weak this year but richie porte was just amazing for sky and froome and he deserves alot of credit.

Cracking tour thought with some future stars. I really hope they give porte at chance next year now and Uran is back in the team as for wiggo LOL wont happen and if he was the lead man for the tour no chance in hell would of he of won FACT!!! he would of needed froome and porte where froome can do it on his own..

He's got no chance, Andy Murray is a nailed on cert for that. Froome will never get the accolades Wiggins got from people outside the sport because wiggins is a household name and did it first, but Froome's win has been far more impressive.

Plus the Sky team wasn't as strong this year and they lost two good riders, as said above though Porte was exceptional. I'm glad my fears about Froome not having a great team mate were unfounded.

Cav must have been livid at the useless lead out, left on his own into the final turn with virtually no chance of overhauling Kittel though he had a good dig at it! Rumour is his old HTC lead out man Mark Renshaw will be joining the team for next year, he needs someone like that if he's going to get close to Merckx' record of stage wins.

Yeah Cav's leadout was non existent although I dont think he's at his best, In fact all the lads who rode in this years harsh Giro had a pretty forgetable tour, Cant grumble with Cavs two stage wins though.

Ritchie Porte was immense as were Froome and the other lads to be fair winning Le Tour with only seven men left cant be easy the way they ride.

certainly must have wound the some of the French up, They attacked the team car on stage 20 which I hadnt heard about

Seems a camper van backed into the sky car and when the lads got out to see if everything was ok got set upon
