As I said in another post money down but watching dwarf throwing in a penthouse suite made it sort of worth it. 3 days to go.

i am off to Vegas at the end of March - staying in the Signature at MGM Grand, so should be decent.

one thing - we want to do the rides at the top of the Stratosphere hotel, and have found this link
Stratosphere Tower Thrill Rides  -  Las Vegas  | Rides on top of the Stratosphere in Vegas | Rides That Make You Scream in Las Vegas | Stratosphere Tower Rides and Tickets

am i right in reading that for $36 we will get tower tickets (which are needed anyway to ride the rides) and then unlimited go's on the 3 rides (not the sky jump).

that does seem pretty reasonable, seen as each ride is $15 to go on anyway?

anyone got any tips on night clubs to visit? we are looking to reserve a table in one, not sure which one yet.

i assume the cost is going to be pretty heavy? upwards of $1500 for 5 or 6 of us? is that a reasonable amount to assume?

looking into table service, rumours are that it is one bottle per 3 people (so we would need 2 bottles minimum) and a bottle costs around $500 each! then tip and tax needs to be added as well.

It will be expensive, I payed $1200 for a magnum of grey goose at the Rehab pool party at the HRH, which came to $1350 with tip. Bottle service is cheaper than rounds also easier if you are a big drinker, we went to 6 or 7 clubs had VIP entry for most of them. But one, Pure now the Omnia I believe IIRC we didn't have passes and the queue was 300 or more, slid into the VIP line paid $150 each to skip. Drink are roughly $20  for a premium Vodka etc.

Don't know your budget but if you're partying at the top spots, take lots of money I spend over $10k in 4 nights.

$10k in 4 nights? fudgeing hell. we are going for 6 nights and i had budgeted about $2-2.5k. that is all i can afford anyway tbh.

couple of the guys really want to do table service at a club, but i don't want to spend that sort of money just to get a table. would rather get there early ish, queue up and then buy drinks at $10-20 a time.

Haha, 2K should be fine, just means you queue or score some free tickets. Use the Vegas sandwich when you check into your hotel.

tbh, i don't think clubbing will happen every night anyway. it might happen once or twice. gambling will happen a fair bit, and then seeing what else is out there.

i have heard in some of the casino's you can drink for free whilst gambling, so that will be me sorted for a while.

oh, and i am going to this place at some point, even if it is on my own
Burger Bar - The Ultimate Burger Experience & More

p.s what is the vegas sandwich?

Not quite.

The $36 gets you access to the Tower and 1 x ride on each of the 3 rides.  The ticket contains 3 x tear offs, 1 for each ride.

I still have my complete ticket as a souvenir as i bottled all 3 rides when i was there last Dec.

Had just jumped out of a plane several hours earlier as well

Soon as i got up there and looked out the window, i got the shakes.  Never recovered after that.  My mate went on all 3 rides on his own while his Mrs (they got married there) and me watched on

Whilst i was in NY NY, they were in the Sig Grand straight across the road (20 min walk (all the way through the MGM Grand lobby/casino area - pretty amazing how big it is) between hotel rooms though).  Their room, some sort of suite (not a mega posh one) was pretty nice

Have fun.  Envious

Mates are going back again in June.  I'm not
