I am certainly against the teaching of sex education at Primary School. As for my children, they are all grown up and have decided their own sexuality. (None are them are homosexual.)

Why? They are seeing it all around them. They share porn. They grow conscious about it. They go through physical and hormonal changes. Don’t you think it helps to get some context?

Your kids have most certainly NOT "decided their sexuality", it isn't a choice. No more than I could decide to be over 6 ft tall or have blue eyes.

How do you know "None of them are homosexual"?They might be married to members of the opposite sex and even have children, it doesn't mean that they're not gay, it might just be that they grew up in an atmosphere where they didn't feel free to express who they actually are. I don't know how many members are in your extended family but one thing's for sure, approximately one in twenty of them are LGBT. The stats don't lie.

They certainly lie if they suggest one in twenty is LGBT! I read somewhere (admittedly many years ago) that the figure is about one in a hundred, and I think that wasoptimistic.

Interesting that you choose to only come back at that point. I think the full LGBTQ cohort is easily 20%. And when you talk about children growing up and experiencing all their changes I’d suspect that percentage is much much higher since it is totally normal to be questioning regarding ones own sexuality and have feelings for others, and to experiment.

As I said earlier I had sex education at primary school nearly 40 years ago, aged 8/9 during the 1980/81 school year. This was in a CoE comp in a village by a small market town in Suffolk, not exactly a loony left local authority.
So do you want to roll even that back? Turning the clock back to the 1940s/50s or earlier?
