[/SPOILER]   I'm coming to the end of [b]The Forgotten Holocaust. [/b] and although thought it got bogged down with the diary albeit of some interest, I did find the history informative. The rest has been has been very good and think best of the three I read so far although would say it comes behind Nemesis in  the villain's will world ambitions. I also been reading up on some of the  weapons mentioned in the story. Ive still not found what the twist in the diary has to do with the boss not unless his relations was the assistant who helped deliver the stuff that killed the  potato off.

As an update to my previous post re the Reacher books, I'm glad to say the last 2 (Personal & Make Me) have been back on form, IMO.

In a similar vein, I'm part way through the John Milton series by Mark Dawson. Another ex-SAS/government-controlled assassin/recovering alcoholic who goes rogue. Although mostly set in the US (so far), Milton is a Brit, but some of the dialogue "sounds" American to my eyes (if you get what I mean???).

That said, I'm enjoying them.

The last book I finished (reading historical Outlaw Chronicles at the moment) was the first in the series of John Puller, Zero Hour which again I found similar in style to the first Will Robie book but with less action. I found it started of gripping with all the death he is investigating, but then goes into detective(as in just questioning people) mode then gets the action at the end.
The Will Robie second book I read was brilliant The Hit and gripping all the way though.
Does John Puller get any better than his first outing in Zero Hour.
BTW I noticed Baldacci books follow a format of short chapters have about 100 chapters and a tad over 400 pages although I picked up True Blue the other week by him which is a tad over 600.
Someone says he never edits his books which I think he could do with but then again very easy reading.
