The children who become victims don’t really matter the cost of their justice is far too great, it’s why we get served up dead or dying. There is a lot of head shaking and tutting, but most people only really care if it’s over their door step and one of their own and mainly used by those who have an axe to grind and it s good emotional subject for people to tutt and shake and agree over.

A little bit, but then the mainstream media are not really interested until a Rolf Harris appears in the dock. I find Mark Watts is much better on LBC.

They released one file and have refused to even release the titles or the contents of the other files. Apparently the files have been passed onto the CSA Inquiry.

I'm keeping an open mind on that one. Again it appears to come back to Jimmy Savile and what his exact role was.

Read the book that Danzcuk co wrote about Cyril Smith. It opens up a whole host of corruption on a local and national level as to how Smith's crimes were covered up. The basic gist is Cyril Smith was mostly protected as he would have likely thrown everyone under a bus to save his own neck, he could have been prosecuted many times over, like Savile.
It's the cover ups that will do the damage, especially if it's shown the abuse has continued to this day. Rotherham and so on show that local corruption is pretty bad and I doubt it's limited to Labour councils either.

If the Police do arrest the MP accused of child abuse and charging his constituents for case work (which is part of what MP's get paid for), then that may well open things up into a scandal. This is following the same path as the Phone hacking and expenses scandal, Politicians hoping it goes away while a few journalists and others keep digging until it explodes into a scandal. John Mann's been campaigning on this issue since the 90's, and if what he's been tweeting in recent months is true, we ain't seen nothing yet. As for current Politicians ? Would you want to be the PM when this scandal breaks ? The usual platitudes of "Lessons will be learned" probably won't cut it. Worst case will be a constitutional crisis forcing an election, if it's proven that MP's are either abusers or have helped to cover crimes up. But the cynical side of me thinks whatever the truth is, it will likely be buried and the truth will probably come out in about 100 years time.

The majority of the allegations the IPCC are investigating stem from retired Met Police Officers apparently
IPCC launches 13 more probes into paedophile ‘cover-ups’ | ExaroNews

There are a lot of current and former police officers who are angry at the cover ups and want to nail them all. But they are prevented from doing so due to the fear of the OSA. A rather crude but effective way of keeping whistleblowers quiet. Should be remembered that a vote to give former Police Officers and other public servants immunity from the OSA was rejected by the Tories and Liberal Democrats before the election. It's not the abuse that will sink the political class, it's the alleged cover ups that will do the damage. That's of course if the truth ever sees the light of day.

Last night's Panorama special pretty much aired what I've been suspecting of Exaro and the many allegations.

I've no doubt about huge establishment cover ups, but the tin foil stuff from various anonymous alleged victims has never really gelled for me.

BBC dances the tune of government and is now in full jig, along side government majority.

Amazing as most seem to accuse the BBC of being a left wing institution

The BBC is first and foremost a tool of the state. It's only been accused of Left Wingism to help with the agenda of scrapping the license fee. BBC News is perhaps unbalanced but that's a different debate entirely.

It was a pretty one sided programme and seemed designed to put people off coming forward to the Police. There may well be some allegations that are false (as Tom Watson pointed out), but on the whole given what was in the file released from Thatchers time in Office, a cover up of some kind was going on. They've yet to release the names of the other files that were marked for destruction from Thatcher's era, but they have apparently been handed over to the CSA Inquiry.

Until the Police have concluded investigating the claims made to them, it's entirely the wrong time for Panorama to ask the question it did (it's a legitimate question but not until the criminal justice system has run it's course) to ask as it probably falls under sub judice rules. As it is John Mann appears to have files from the 80's that indicates that Panorama knew CSA was going on even back then -
John Mann (@JohnMannMP) on Twitter

Panorama didn't even bother to properly interview the cross party group of MP's who've been looking into this after constituents approached them directly and still are by the sounds of things in regards to child abuse.

Some claims will sound utterly ludicrous but they have to be investigated properly to put them to rest as it were and prosecute those where the evidence merits it. This isn't about tin foil hats, it's about getting to truth whatever it might be. The truth will be uncomfortable to uncover and I doubt whatever the truth actually is, it will not please David Icke and co.

Protection of children must be foremost in all of our minds. There are questions to be asked and answered of the state. You only have to look at Rotherham and co to see the lifelong damage it causes.

You only have to read the Peter Ball revelations today, to wonder why we had panorama last night. Anything to try and dilute nefarious actions.

You are probably correct, no connection whatsoever with the VIP peodophile ring. However, coincidence I think not Panorama last night and the press being able to report on Peter Ball and those who kept him out of prison until now, such as Royality, MPs, Bishops, Senior judges.  Like I said, anything to dilute and divert.
