LOL, I suspect this is their latest dirty tricks tactic, making leavers start thinking they want to be a remainer by constant badgering and other devious methods as yet unknown. Just as long as your crosses go in the right boxes. (we must remember to wear our hats when making those crosses too.

I think Boris would cling on even more than May did. He ain't going anywhere.

Whilst I agree the first order of business is Brexit, I'm mortified to think that people actually believe Boris would be a good PM to tackle the rest of the issues the country faces afterward.

As well as being our representative on the world stage in our new found post-EU position.

If that's the view of people in this section, then I fear there is no hope left....

Apart from there has to be a leader and prime minister I really can’t see the point, not as least as Brexit is concerned.

The damage has been done.

No deal has been taken off the table.

Parliament are aware that they can simply reject any deal (good or bad) and eventually, however, long it takes, end up with a second referendum.  And if that results in LEAVE just keep repeating the circus until Brexit is cancelled.

The EU have already said what they will accept and are not going to change their mind.  In fact the EU are probably doing exactly what I’m doing, looking at where this is heading, a second referendum, so why on earth would they do anything to help Brexit.

Can’t see why anyone would want the job - just goes to show how big their egos are.

Cheers,

Nigel

Why would you think that?

Does he have different policies than the other candidates on the NHS, education, defence, the economy, etc?

Has he had more experience in government and demonstrated an ability to lead more effectively?

What makes him better than the other candidates for everything outside of brexit? The only difference I can see is that he has a view on brexit more in line with what you want.

Rory Stewart has an interesting CV with his public service including the Army and Foreign Office.  He is very well qualified for the post of Prime Minister even if he doesn't align with your ideology.

First time I've been on since I posted, but I would have said the same as @Rasczak above. I think @krish also alluded to similar as well.

He's in a different league to Boris. Anyone with half a brain cell should be able to see that. He can actually speak without making a tit of himself and the country for starters.

I look at the poll above and I can only hope most people have voted based on what they think is going to happen, as opposed to what they want to happen. As if the majority here are in favour of Boris, it's a very sad indictment of the people in this section.

Interesting summary on how you see your fellow forum members. Whilst I appreciate the honesty I think you could have made your point in a less rude manner.
