We have a very small garden , over the years though we have tried  ( sometimes failed ) to grow a bit of fruit n veg.

Some may say , oh my god ! You don't know the first thing . I would agree but we have had success and failure in our pitiful attempt . When it works it is great tasting though and well worth the little effort put in .

I may get laughed at for this as all is in pots or grow bags , but hey ho we are quite proud of our efforts . Nothing quite like picking veg on a Sunday morning for a roast.

This year's  ( hopefully) crop includes.

Runner Beans,
Dwarf Green Beans,
Carrots,
Spring Onions,
Tomatoes,
Peppers,
Strawberries.

Not much but a start.

Runners.

Fruit n veg patch.

Thinking of making the fruit n veg patch into a proper raised bed next year if all takes off.

I miss my parents grow your own taste , long time ago and want that fresh sweet taste back

Over to you lot .

We (I mean my wife) has been on the go with this years crop and we recently built a greenhouse and I added her a new raised bed affectionately called 'the coffin' for her runner beans.

Strawberries, peppers, onions, sweetcorn, courgettes, runner beans, peas, tomatoes, broccoli and some other stuff.

Planted a grapevine against the back fence as we had to leave the one bought for us by Mother In Law at our old house.

Got Strawbs coming. Onions harvested and drying out but don't actually look like they've grown.

Runner beans are climbing well and the grape vine is spreading nicely. Not much in the way of success with other bits but I'll get some photos when I go back up the garden.

A small orange tomato was added this morning also. I've eaten both tomatoes and the peas have been eaten also.

I think we may have to supplement the GYO with some shop bought otherwise we'll starve.

I have 4 tomatoes and no sign of new flowers coming so they've cost me about £1.75 each
