My friend in work has just loaned me her cash and carry card - 5kg of chicken breast for £20! It's all just dumped in a plastic box but for that price I don't really care.

I'd defo give it a go fella. Not much savings on alcohol or that sort of stuff but fresh produce is ridiculously cheap.

Just bought some Slimfast milk shake for £1 from Home Bargains.
These are ready to drink and have 15grm of protein in them.
Not too bad for a quick milk shake to take to work.

I've just ordered 3 x 1kg packs of 60% vanilla protein from my protein - as it's on offer, and they're having a free postage deal on today...
32 quid delivered...unlfavoured is even less...

there's not much difference between the 80% and 60% either - first time I've had this one tho...

Grabbed some peppered Quorn steaks from Tesco the other day. £2.50 for a pack. 2 steaks amounts to 246 cals and 26g of protein. Didn't taste too bad either. Currently 3 for 2 as well.

also, check out your local supermarket for gulp milk drink - I got 20 bottles at 50p - they're protein enriched and each bottle has 25 grams of protein...got banana, choc, strawberry - only tasted the latter two, but choc's the best...as it's thick i combine it with whole milk and some protein powder...nice drink...gonna buy more before they go upto a quid !

Hi Grangey. CHEAP, own-brand Tuna can be bought for next to nowt at Aldi stores, up and down the country.

They also do a great selection of Tuna with natural complimentary additives to stop you becoming bored with the stuff!
