What is this sorcery?!

I thought a new engine (and no, not the perpetually tweaked Morrowind / Oblivion / FO3 / Skyrim / FO4 one) was on the way? In which case this seems a little early. Any sign of a new Elder Scrolls? Although Skyrim's still selling well, I guess.

Hmmm, lots of specualtion about how it will play. I guess another 11 days to wait to get some more decent information....

The most consistent rumour I have heard so far is that it will be some sort of Rust type builder game.

if it is story led single player with possible MP options for co-op and has Vr built in from day 1 i will be getting.

if it is monitor only and more like ESO then.... meh!

It’s not the sequel to Fallout 4, far too early for that to be released. Looks like something completely different but just based in the Fallout world.

Lore wise some sort of Rust/Ark game would sense.  Vault 76 was one of the control vaults, meant to be used to resettle the land after the bombs, as compared to the vaults in the other games that all had some sort of crazy experiment going on.  Vault 76 was also one of the first to be opened (the new game will be set in 2102, just 25 years after the bombs fell).

So we could be playing part of the first wave of settlers, going out there, building stuff, settling down, fighting factions (other players) that will inevitably rise up, deathclaws etc etc.

Not what I want from a Fallout game at all (since it is MP) but could be a different direction for the franchise to take.  I just hope it is not an MMO, and that there will be a single player, or pve only option.

It could be good! Buy meh i dont have much time anymore for MMO's!

I need to start playing Fallout 4 actually! I enjoyed the previous Fallout games
