thanks for getting back so quick guys, as i'm lookin at the 46 inch would there be any difference in picture quality due to the smaller panel

Also does your sets go into energy saving mode too quickly? Happens here every 15 mins or so, very annoying while watching a movie!

I have turned it off in the settings too :/

It's not really that bad. You can see it on dark backgrounds when you are using much backlight.   By adjusting the settings of the local dimming you can virtually eliminate this. Blacks are very dark now. I have to watch some movies to really be able to score this. Picture quality seems outstanding sofar.

Some caution advised from hdtvtest
To sum it up, we really loved taking advantage  of the auto-calibration function on the Regza 46WL863B to calibrate  greyscale and gamma, but we would not recommend it for colour  calibration unless Toshiba starts incorporating secondary colours and  colour decoding measurements into the process.

and

changing any [Base Colour Adjustment] >  [Brightness] value would introduce random compression artefacts in  real-life programmes, which essentially meant that only the [Hue] and  [Saturation] controls were functional.

Not aware of that is still true after the updates.
Very, very good set anyway!

well ZL1 at present not availible in UK but such as in Germany its already sale and having some of users as well

Therefore I do not understand Tosh sales policy here in Europe!!

such as why its not availible ZL1/2 in UK??

I'm wonder and asking you that would you pls check the "letter" off Matrix type
on back panel sticker

as you will see on a sticker written some off infos etc.then you will see the ID off Matrix
Brand letter such as K,S,L,A,C....

K=Samsung
S=Sharp
A=AUO
C=CMO
L=LGD
....

pls check and info us if possible than we got the correct type panel

For ZL2 what a price £ 7K so just forget it

and what about ZL1 ?? at least for UK market?

also seems ZL1 is available in Germany/Poland/Denmak
and so on
but not here in Turkey al least!

The Flag-ship is ZL1
I'm not interested in exremely pricey ZL2
its first gen."Glasses" panel and comes with a lot issues!
