So do you all have certain settings for Sky HD, Games and Blu rays?

I'm a little confused..

I use a PS3 for gaming and blu rays so when I'm gaming should I switch the TV to Game-Mode and when I watch a film set it to Cinema?

What do you guys use settings wise for Sky?

Thank You!

Is there any way of standing this tv in its stand without it tilting? I'm really interested in getting one but that tilt is really setting off my OCD!!! Why can't it sit straight?

Hi all, I've recently purchased a 55", replacing a 50" Panasonic plasma. I have it wall mounted using the same mount I had used for the plasma, but it holds the screen about 4cm from the wall. I'd like to replace the wall mount with an ultra-slim one that holds it 1cm or less from the wall, but I'm thinking about heat from the rear. The manual doesn't make any reference to it, but for those of you that have the TV on the stand, how much heat is there on the back panel?

Thanks!

I've had my 55'' on all day watching the football and there is no heat whatsoever on the back of the tv so I think you'll be fine.

TV is on the stand.

OK; I've started down the config trail.

My major stumbling block is the appalling documentation.

Does ANYONE have a full, searchable (summary) list of all the options/features/menus?

I have the PDF of the paper manual (pretty much useless), and access to the online I-manual:

?BRAVIA?

But this is not "nicely" searchable.

I am having a F***king mare finding the options amidst the "various" menus.

(I also had no fun at all using the DVE DVD disc - it took me "a while" to find DISABLE "Bravia Sync/Control forHDMI" with the Blu-Ray so that I could navigate the Blu-Ray using the Blu-ray remote whilst altering the TV settings using the TV remote. For the longest time, using the TV remote with the BLURAY turned on gave me ... the BLURAY players options...)
