Could you have a European team winning the British sports personality?  I know there are Brits in the team, but it's not a British team.

Ian Poulter has to be in with a shout of a short list place though.

With golf probably beeing the biggest participation sport amongst the viewers, it will be voted for by a lot of people.

I knew they'd won something at sports personality before but wasn't sure if it was the main team award.  That's fair enough then.  It will be interesting to see if it goes to Team GB Olympic team, Team GB Paralympic team or Team Europe Ryder Cup team.  Team Sky will probably be in with a shout as well as the English cricket team for reaching number 1 test side position.
