It’s only March, I know, but there’s a lot of cricket being played and I really can’t see a clear favourite at the moment! Will there be a different winner?

Has to be either India or England, NZ an outsider for the final. Can’t see any of the other teams lasting the pace.

If anyone’s interested theres  a trophy tour around the country soon.

With Austrialia winning a 5 match ODI series in India, they have also become a contender.

With India possibly refusing to Pakistan in the group stages, wonder what would happen if India meet Pakistan in a semi-final? I am guessing that India would soon change their tune.

I will watch it IF Sky don't bail.

http://www.sportspromedia.com/news/ipl-rights-uk-sky-sports-hotstar

I mean, first they lost the Champions League, then La Liga and now, the Indian Premier League.

I have personal reasons for hating BT Sport but now I'm not sure who I detest more, them or Sky.

Just forked out £11.99 for Hotstar monthly, installed their app so hopefully will not miss any games.

Anyway, back to the World Cup, yes I will take an interest in it, don't mind the 50-over game at all.

Half time of the first match. England manage 311. I think this could be enough to win the match. SA will have to bat well to chase this total down.

Have entered the Telegraph World Cup Fantasy game with the team name We've Taken Root.

Joe Root will be the captain.

JOE ROOT, JASON ROY, STEVE SMITH, AIDEN MARKRAM, ROHIT SHARMA, ANDRE RUSSELL, MS DHONI,
BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR, KAGISO RABADA, LASITH MALINGA, JOFRA ARCHER

Entered the Facebook League (even though we don't do Facebook lol).

Also something called The Broken Wicket League.

Yeah that one's left me stumped!

312 for SA to win - should prove an interesting contest - let's open the beers!

Although Tahir got a couple of the wickets, they showed a graphic earlier of the economy rates for spinners at all the English grounds at at 6.27 RPO, The Oval is the most uneconomical.

Or in UHT.

But at least SA aren't milking our bowling. 89/2 after 18, maybe Amla can come back out to bat. Jofra Archer has celebrated two captures so far, removing Markram and Du Plessis.

Ben Stokes takes an absolute worldy. Will post a clip soon as one is available. Nasser Hussain commenting... "No... no... Ben Stokes, you CANNOT do that".
