Not too many of the big Marvel Events listed either - I'll throw my oar in, since Civil War's been mentioned - follow on from that with Illuminati/Planet Hulk/World War Hulk - awesome series, worth reading.
Secret Invasion charts an invasion of Earth by the Skrull, having taken over the identities of many of the world's superheros - who can you trust when you don't know who's a teammate and who might be a shapeshifting alien spy?
Dark Reign - after the shocking events at the end of the Secret Invasion, Norman Osborn, aka the Green Goblin, has taken over as director of S.H.I.E.L.D., he's got access to all of Tony Stark's toys, and he's got a new team of Avengers - who look a lot like the old Avengers, but they're not. Bullseye is wearing Hawkeye's costume, Moonstone is masquerading as Ms Marvel, even our beloved Spider-Man is Back in Black - Venom. Even Sentry, possibly the most powerful being in the universe, is becoming unhinged - and who is the Iron Patriot? Don't miss the Dark Avengers...

Siege - as Norman Osborn continues his Dark Reign, teetering on the brink of madness, one thing remains out of his control - Asgard. I'm only speculating here, but I think we're going to be in for one hell of story. |
