My wife is 7 stone also with 2 kids and she can easily manage with their small crates.

Call me snobby but I don't like people who I have never met walking through my house seeing what I have to get to the kitchen.

Our Tesco driver always offers though.

What cheapest delivery price is that, then? And does it vary depending on the amount you buy?

Tesco delivery (in coventry at least no idea if it varies) is between £3 and £6 depending on when you want it delivered, Saturdays and Sundays £5-6, Something like a monday after work say the 7pm-9pm slot which is perfect for us is £4. The cost does not vary based on the ammount you buy, if you want to pay them £4 delivery for a can of coke you can.

Waitroses delivery is free though you have to spend over £50 and our shopping always comes to alot more if we use waitrose, it's a nice treat to shop there though.

Thanks, Noggin, I've just placed my first order for items which are no longer available in my local branch.

We have been using Tesco online on and off for the past 3 years to help budget our food shopping and have only ever had a couple of problems with short dates or substitutions, for the last couple of months we have used Waitrose (as we are now able to claim our JL discount online) and have been really happy with the service so far.

I have been comparing the cost of Waitrose shops to the equivalent products from Tesco and so far there has not been a lot in it, as Waitrose now price match against Tesco on lots of branded items.
