Not sure why I didn't just do that first time round but I can confirm 0.1 ohms or so from Live pin on the plug to blue cable in the unit and the same for Neutral to brown. The reverse shows 105 ohms which I guess is the impedance of the rest of the circuitry.

Obviously I used cutting edge technology to perform this experiment which allowed me to do this without removing the cover so my warranty is not affected.

It does make me wonder if stock these companies are selling are coming from 1 stockpile as they all have roughly the same quantities.
When I first looked on PC World Business they had 282 at £506.00 now showing 262 cant beleive they have sold 20 at that price.

Drop shipping at a reduced price to clear old discontinued stock - sounds very plausable - but also presents the worry that they all will show the same problems
