I am no longer able to post in this thread - could we have an ex owners one?

It died at the weekend - current owners should check how hot it gets - mine was vey hot after a few hours -  then Saturday a smell of burning and a loud "sparking/crackling" noise forced its return.

Top marks to woolies got my refund at 9.30 this morning no hassle at all.

I've got an evesham alqemi 32 sx tv an hour later to replace it - its been on for 5 hours tonight and is cool - no heat at all.  Picture definately a step up from the techno (only watched cars on dvd and a bit of sky sports - not hd -so far).  - but I would have been happy with the techno if it hadn't died..

To all owners, please would you be kind enough, like I have been, to post some pictures of dvd, sd digital, xbox gaming quality etc form your techno , some people on this thread are far from proactive in helping the innocent,  curious people that read this thread

On that "other" thread people seem to have started reporting faulty sets. Would owners who have had to return their sets be so kind as to let us know - or should we now set up an ex-owners club for that

Now that I've ordered one I hope Woolies haven't requested a rush job on new stock - sacrificing the build quality

finally got my techno. i was quite weary about it, cos its the silver one and the black just looked better. but no complaints the silver looks superb! picture is great. i played a dvd through my ps2 on it. and that was very good. have not tryed HD yet. but my mate is bringin round his xbox cant wait!!!!
