So quick question before I go to beta .
I thought the recent performance fixes were now in the live branch is this incorrect?

Not sure exactly whats been updated to the main game, NMS and SteamVR are going through so many updates this week it’s hard to keep track.

I guess if you want to play safe stick with the normal branch of both SteamVR and NMS.

SteamVR just got another update on the Bata branch and it does mention NMS so maybe they fixed the crashing on the last beta. Luckily switching from SteamVR Beta to the normal branch takes seconds.

Hello Games have just released ANOTHER patch by the looks of things lol. That's a crazy 16 patches since it launched on the 14th.

There must be CLOUDS of Colombian Marching Powder around that office by now lmfao

I tried the beta branch and it didn’t seem to be any different to me.

Massive improvement for me in todays patch (main branch).  Am still hitting ASW quite a lot but the stutter has totally gone, also draw distance, whilst still not great seems improved too.

i could happily play this all day now without sickness

Had a good play this evening. It feels a lot smoother than before somehow, only getting a tiny bit of stuttering while flying and circling a dense area. They've done a really good job!

I’m about 45 hours in now. This game is stunning. Probably the most beautiful game I’ve ever played.

I’ve now got 3 Starships and the huge Capital ship. Never thought I’d ever play a game like this outside Star Citizen.

I’ve even built a base and have a guy working for me now. I need another recruit to get this base rolling.

Im tempted to buy this, im wanting a VR game i can sink some hours into without getting bored after a few hours, ive watched a few videos today, is it a really slow grinding type game?
