Yet you frequently told us that "We do not want" gay marriage etc, etc, etc... ad nauseum as if you were a spokesperson for all Gays. And now want to suppress any education on available legal partnerships in schools.

Wha?

LGBT community - Wikipedia

Logi needs to get editing that page pretty damn quick then.

Meanwhile I'll tell my daughter it's alright to be gay and not everyone is like him.

A Hindi wedding? If you are saying it was a Hindu wedding, I find it hard to believe that the men and women were separated. They all sit and eat together. Dance together. There has never been separation of the men and women at any Hindu event I know of, certainly not on any religious grounds.

Apologies for the "typo" I confused the language with the religion. As far as I am aware it was a traditional Hindu wedding spread over several days.Everyone mixed freely, except when the food came out.It was a wonderful day BTW.

I see that more as a cultural thing, nothing to do with any religious functions or ceremonies or any ideology. Pretty much all get togethers I recall with other Indian families in the 70s-90s would see the women and men do their separate thing, which invariably meant women in the kitchen, men boozing, children all playing somewhere (not segregated, and would include secret smoking etc as we got older). Certainly old fashioned and hopefully disappearing fast.

Why are people so scared of what other people do with their lives? So what if someone is gay. How is that affecting your life? Are you that simpleminded that you think if a gay person lives next door that some kind of horror will befall you or that they may ‘turn’ your kids?

Bigotry is just cowardice.

It’s important that schools teach kids about everything to ensure that they don’t grow up with the same bigoted and/or racist views of their parents, otherwise the cycle will never be broken.

The only problem I've had is when a scene queen won't shut up about how they are the most important person in the world and it turns out they work the till at WH Smith.

I had to google what a scene queen was. Not sure I found the correct answer!
