The elected PM's of Greece and Italy were removed and replaced by Goldman Sachs technocrats. If repeating what actually happened in recent history is now antisemitic then someone needs to have a lie down.

I’m no expert, but I’d guess the part that Jewish people may take offence to is the fact he’s specifically highlighted the fact that they were ex-Goldman Sachs bankers as a negative.  But again, those offended would be better placed to explain I guess.

I think the fact that elected politicians were replaced by EU appointed technocrats is what he objected to.

Pointing out they are bankers plays in to the general antipathy to bankers, not to the background of that particular institution. (Which I'd never heard of being related to Jews until I read this post, and I work in the city - previously for a big competitor of GS)

It's about them being appointed, being bankers, and from one that has a bad reputation.

It's ridiculous to assert that he doesn't like what happened because apparently in the dim and distant past Goldman Sachs was founded by Jews.

My daughters are being withdrawn in the summer due to lack of funding, the school no longer has the provision to best serve their needs, they are helping us to find a place a different school.

Yes, Yes it is.

You can wave silly rankings about all you damn well like, but the fact is the government has cut funding in real terms to education of the next generation of teachers, doctors, nurses and essentially our future workforce ... at a time and place where there are already shortages in many key professions, there are demands to reduce immigration that help can fill those essential job shortfalls.
The young today have less wealth, less equity and less social mobility than previous generations including mine.

In terms of %GDP on education, we are 58th.
