Really? Well in that case then those individuals are not very classy in my opinion. Why would you look down upon others? I also find the words “less fortunate” a bit strange in this context. Then again I’m a firm believer of self responsibility and potential of people. These days we all have the same potential and whether we do something with it is our choice. We all have our crosses to bear.

I would also say if you are insistent on categorising class then there is definitely something lower than working (lower) class.  Unless the lower middle class is actually the old working class?

Just because we may not like , agree or find it distastfull . This does not mean that a class / social standing system does not exist, unless og course you can point me into this different understanding .

Have to ask the question as what do you deem classy ? Does one have to be in a certain class to achieve this status ?
