Ok, so let’s pretend it exists, and to be fair I know it exists in some people’s minds as that is how this thread started as I disagree it exists in a meaningful impact.

So how does it actually impact anyone? Just five different examples of actual real impacts may illustrate it to me.

First class on trains that means even JC can't get a seat . I mean to say we still have a bloody first class option on our trains .

Preferential treatment at events because of ones social standing . As in VIP only status that excludes the rest.

Entrance into the finest schools/universities in the land if ones social standing and or bank balance allows , fudge the rest of us .

Virgin Upper Class , I mean it sort of spells it out dun it.

Legal representation for the  upper class is still a thing as white collar crime pays both ways .

Harley Street doctors when the unwashed rest of us need and rely on the NHS .

You snob

But seriously, I don't care about swearing unless it's in front of v young kids (under 5). I'd have thought you're a freedom of expression type of individual?

If you want to live in Britain you have to get used to drunken public behaviour - it goes with the territory and has done for centuries. It's not going away any time soon and tbh, I've done a few displays of myself (especially at uni but a few times since).

The knife and fork thing is an odd one though. I don't get what you mean by holding them low down?

Being used to it, and not finding it classy are two totally different things in my opinion.

If you don’t know about holding the fork low down and don’t do that  then all is good Well good as in a not not classy in my opinion kind of way.

However I would also like to stress, it is just my opinion. There is no rule about it.

I’m sorry I am confused now, were you serious about those five points being examples of a class system in the context of what is being discussed here?

To me these are simply service options, whilst they have the word class in the name they are open to all if you choose to spent your cash on it.

Sorry, reread what you wrote and realise I meant working class but typed lower class. Just an error, nothing more
